Welcome to Windaroo State School
At Windaroo State School, we believe every student can learn, grow and build a bright future through high-quality teaching and learning, strong relationships and a supportive school community.
Our Expectations
At the heart of our school community are three simple, but powerful expectations:
Be Safe
We make choices that keep ourselves and others safe. We care for our environment, follow established routines and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Be Responsible
We take ownership of our actions and learning. We come prepared, persevere through challenges and strive to achieve our personal best.
Be Respectful
We treat others with kindness, empathy and understanding. We value diversity, build positive relationships and contribute to a caring and inclusive school culture.
These expectations guide our daily interactions and help foster an environment where students feel safe, cared for and ready to learn.
Educational Achievement
Quality teaching and learning are at the centre of everything we do. Our dedicated staff provide engaging, evidence-based learning experiences that challenge and support every student to learn, grow and reach their potential. Students benefit from:

- ample facilities and play spaces, including separate senior and junior ovals, multiple playgrounds for different age groups and extensive shaded areas
- modern, air-conditioned learning environments that support engagement, comfort and effective learning
- before and after school care on campus, hosted by the school and provided by Helping Hands Network
Belonging and Engagement
We are committed to ensuring every student experiences a strong sense of belonging, connection and care. Through inclusive practices, wellbeing programs and personalised support, we create opportunities for all learners to thrive.
Our staff build strong, caring relationships with students and families, recognising that wellbeing and learning go hand in hand.
A Connected Community
Strong partnerships with families and the wider community are central to our success. Together, we create opportunities that enrich learning, strengthen wellbeing and build a positive school culture.
Supported by an active P&C Association, dedicated volunteers and valued community partnerships, our students benefit from a collaborative and caring approach to education.
